The most famous company of Automobiles Tesla is under federal investigation after various reports are incidents. The report contains that the steering wheel of the car falls off while driving and this happens in the 2023 model of the Company’s vehicle.
NHTSA Statement on Tesla Case:
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) opened a probe into the Tesla Company last week. The filing states that it creates awareness of the two instances of vehicle 2023 model Y steering wheels suffering a complete fall off. It was all done during driving and because of the missing retaining bolt.
The department states that this is an open investigation to access the scope, manufacturing processes, and frequency connected with this condition. The filing on Saturday said that the evaluation they open will apply to more than 120,000 vehicles.
Tesla Recall 360,000 vehicles last month:
Tesla and his CEO Elon Musk are under investigation last month also when they recall 360,000 electric vehicles of the same model. The federal regulators said that automated driving technology is increasing the risk of injuries and accidents. In addition, Tesla also recall 3,470 model Y vehicles last month because they found the bolts. The bolts are loose in the second-row seat frames which could cause an increase in risk and injuries in the crash.
