Old Maps Lost Civilizations

Numerous maps point out that ancient explorers had an extremely well-developed cartography system comparable in precision to the one we have today. This proves that ancient mankind knew the exact shape and size of the Earth and used spherical trigonometry.

Which used precise and elaborate mathematical calculations. It’s as if thousands of years ago an unknown civilization undertook a global-scale project of mapping the entire planet like NASA.

Have you ever considered the possibility that a much older and far more advanced civilization existed thousands of years ago? Even before the rise of some of the greatest developments, such as the Aztecs, Maya, Olmec, and so on?

The history of the Earth is buried in mystery. The enormous puzzle known as the origin of life is riddled with gaps that mainstream scholars have been unable to fill. Numerous discoveries made all over the world have added to the mystery of our history.

The ancient ruins include megalithic monuments, megaliths, and ‘out-of-place artifacts. Archaeologists hope to uncover clues as to who lived before the rise of some of the world’s greatest ancient development.

Some consider this to be the antediluvian forefather of the world’s most important ancient cultures.

How do you explain prehistoric, ancient maps that depict regions of our planet without ice, such as Antarctica?

With a little digging, you’ll find not just one, but dozens of maps depicting the same thing. Which is the continent of Antarctica, presumably without ice.

But… how is this possible? We only recently ‘discovered’ Antarctica. So how can there be maps of the continent that show it without ice?

According to experts, Antarctica split from the Gondwana supercontinent around 160 million years ago and began to cool again. Antarctica was mostly ice 23 million years ago, and it has been a frozen desert under a thick ice sheet for the last 15 million years.

Scientists now estimate that the Antarctic ice sheet, which is at least 1.6 km (1.0 mi) thick, covers 98% of Antarctica. The continent contains approximately 90% of the world’s ice (and thus approximately 70% of the world’s freshwater).

The existence of maps depicting Antarctica free of ice and other parts of the world. They were not discovered until recently has given rise to MANY thoughts, some of which are somewhat controversial.

Many authors will venture to say that these maps may very well prove that ancient explorers had an extremely well-developed cartography system comparable in precision to the one we have today.

These maps could also ‘prove’ that ancient humanity knew the exact Earth’s shape and size and used spherical trigonometry. Which was precise and elaborated mathematical wise, and showed as if thousands of years ago an unknown civilization embarked on a global-scale project of mapping the entire planet like no one has ever done before. As a result, there are numerous ancient maps that many believe prove our history is not what we’ve been told.

Ancient Maps

Zeno’s Map. The enigmatic maps, published around 1380, accurately depict the coasts of modern-day countries such as Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, and Scotland. This ancient map also shows the EXACT latitude and longitude of several islands on our planet.

The Camerio map, created in 1502, employs a spherical grid. Despite the fact that people in the middle ages still believed our planet was… flat.

The Iehudi Ibn ben Zara map, drawn in 1487, depicts glacier remnants in Britain. The map also depicts islands in the Mediterranean and Aegean seas in great detail. These islands still exist today, but they are now submerged due to rising sea levels.

The Buache map, which was created around 1737, is thought to be the result of much older maps. This map depicts Antarctica long before the icy continent was discovered. Surprisingly, like many other ancient maps, this one depicts Antarctica without ice.

The King Jaime World Chart is another shocking map. The map, which was created in 1502, accurately depicts parts of the Sahara Desert, showing it much differently than it is today: with fertile land, massive lakes, rivers, and what appear to be ancient cities.

Piri Reis Map

The Piri Reis Map—one of the most famous ancient charts—is allegedly a collection of even older charts. It is also displaying the correct coastline of Antarctica as it was under the ice. Which is similar to the Buache map. The chart was created around 1520 and, in addition to depicting Antarctica without ice, it accurately depicts the geography of the American continent with such precision that it appears to have been assembled using aerial photography.

Is it possible that all of the above charts were created by an advanced ancient civilization that managed to map the entire planet thousands of years ago—possibly before the last ice age?

If so, who was this mysterious civilization, and does this provide enough evidence to suggest that an advanced ancient civilization existed on Earth thousands of years ago?
