The winter is coming yet again and fire is raging as well. Game of Thrones’ legendary final season ended in 2019 but the story doesn’t end with it. George R.R. Martine released a book by the name of “Fire and Blood” that documented in the rise of the Targaryen family. The book however, was imminently selected by HBO for an adaptation under the name of “House of The Dragon”.
House of The Dragon was released on HBO Max last Sunday, 21st August. As of yet, the series is only available all across the United States.
Plot and Cast
The story follows the reign of the House of Targaryen 300 years before the events of Game of Thrones. Matt Smith portrays as Prince Daemon Targaryen, Emma D’Arcy as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, Olivia Cook as Alicent Hightower, Rhys Ifans as Otto Hightower and Steve Toussaint as Lord Corlys Velaryon. Daemon and Rhaenyra Targaryen are the ancestors of the Game of Thrones character, Daenerys Targaryen. Both Daemon and Rhaenyra were the key players in the Targaryen civil war and House of Dragon will further shed light on the next events.
