There hasn’t been any official word as to when The Witcher Season 3 will be released on Netflix. However, the filming protocol has been going in full flow. They have even reached the final stage of shooting the whole season and it’s expected that the filming will be wrapped up in September.
It goes without saying but Netflix’s Witcher 3 has suffered a lot because of the COVID pandemic. After the release of its first season, the COVID pandemic broke out and everyone went under lockdown. They then released season 2 almost two years after the first phase of the lockdown. Similarly, On July 25 it was reported that the production halted abruptly because the lead actor Henry Cavill had tested positive for COVID.

At that time the scenes that were being filmed didn’t include Henry Cavill. The upcoming season will see the Geralt of Rivia converting his ideologies. As beasts and monarchs are all ready to hunt down Ciri. This season will also witness Geralt and Rivia both traveling to Aretuza while they are on a quest to discover Ciri’s true powers.
