South Carolina’s magnificent coastline is highly regarded by people all over the United States. Some tourists also travel from across the world to visit the mesmerising beaches of South Carolina. If you’re even searching for a peaceful destination, the beaches in South Carolina won’t turn their back on you. 

You can of course visit the public beaches but there are some secluded beaches as well. Those secluded beaches have a rather scenic view to the Atlantic Ocean. Here’s a list of some of the most intriguing beaches in South Carolina

Myrtle Beach

Myrtle Beach is always jam-packed with tourists. Many tourists opt the option of visiting the Myrtle Beach throughout the year. Not only that, this beach is a quite famous hub for family holidays as well. The warm water in the summer season is another bonus. You can enjoy activities such as scuba diving, jet skiing, parasailing and paddle boarding there. The families will also love to visit the Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Museum nearby. 

Folly Beach

Probably the most famous beach in the State of South Carolina is Folly Beach. This place has also filled the description of being one of the best beaches in the States. You can also opt for boat tours around the waters at Folly beach. Fishing is also highly regarded at this beach while surging and kayaking are the most common water-sports. You can also find various local restaurants nearby that include some of the finest foods in the whole U.S.  

Edisto Beach

The Edisto Beach is located at the most peaceful area of the whole South Carolina region. It is also the  most favourite destination for couples on their honeymoon. You can also expect to find some decent hotels nearby the beach accompanied by some decent local eateries. There are no lifeguards at the Edisto beach so we would advise you to only step in the water if you have experience in swimming. The beach also provides an ample space for fishing and camping and the nightsky is absolutely gorgeous here. 

Kiawah Island

The Kiawah Island situated near downtown Charleston attracts many tourists and citizens for its natural heritage. Its rather a famous hub for families and couples on holidays. The most famous attractions at the island are the rolling sand dunes and the evergreen Maritime Forest. To make it even better, the Kiawah Island Golf Resorr also features the best golf courses in the entire nation. Unfortunately in the activity department, you can only enjoy swimming. You will also find lifeguards and outdoor showers during the summertime at the beach located westwards of the island. Also pay a visit to the Beachwalker Park located near the Bohicket River. 

Hilton Head

Hilton Head is probably the best place to crash whenever in South Carolina. It features a coastline of almost 12 miles and is also home to many parks. Fortunately, the whole structure of the island was built as such to aid the visitors so its quite easy to transport from one place to the other. Its also rather easy to find family restaurants and bars near the Hilton Head. The local eateries are just outstanding. Golf lovers can also visit the Hilton Head Golf Courses. Shopping lovers will be glad to find out that there are many shopping centres situated on the island filled with local styles. Whilst looking for a place to spend the night, you have ample options as well. You can also stay at rental homes that provide swimming pools as well.
