Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is a timeless tale. This timeless fable serves as a reminder that what counts most is inner beauty.
2. Mary Poppins (1964)
With only a touch of sugar, Mary Poppins became the childhood nanny we all desired to have. The iconic Julie Andrews portrayal of the practically perfect nanny serves as a good reminder that there is some enjoyment to be enjoyed in every necessary work.
3. Peter pan (1953)
Growing up, who didn’t wish to visit Neverland? Need I say more? A realm beyond the clouds where wayward lads walk freely, pirates sail the seas, and fairies and mermaids exist. When you want to escape to another world, Peter Pan is the ideal movie.
4. Mulan (1988)
A classic tale with international appeal, Mulan symbolizes the concepts of devotion, honor, and family. A live-action remake of the vintage movie, released in 2020, portrays the epic story of a renowned female fighter who is memorialized in the old Chinese lyric.
5. 101 Dalmatians (1966)
Cruella de Vil may be Disney’s most stylish villain. While her methods are a little cruel, you have to admit she has style. Originally an animated film, we’re all more familiar with Glenn Close and a slew of real Dalmatian puppies in the 1996 live-action remake. If you’ve ever wondered why Cruella is the way she is, look no further than the prequel Cruella, which will be released in May 2021.
6. Hercules (1997)
Hercules reminds us, through a variety of tasks he must complete proving himself worthy, that a hero is measured not by his strength, but by the power of his heart.
7. Cinderella (1950)
Cinderella is a timeless classic for good reason. It was first made available in 1950. The Disney princess story continues to be told today through remakes and new formats. But, regardless of which version you watch, we can all agree that nothing beats some mice and a fairy godmother to help you find your Prince Charming.
8. The Little Mermaid (1989):
Who hasn’t wished to be a mermaid when they were younger? Ariel made life under the sea seem like a dream with friends like Sebastian and Flounder.
9. Beauty and the Beast (1991)
It’s an age-old story. Beauty and the Beast, complete with Belle’s iconic yellow ballgown, Lumière the candelabra, Mrs. Potts the teapot, and the rest of the castle’s occupants, reminds us that genuine beauty dwells within. Plus, legendary Celine Dion songs like “Be Our Guest” and “Beauty and the Beast” make this a Disney sing-along for the books.
10. Lion King
The word “Hakuna Matata” means “no concerns for the rest of your days” and is synonymous with The Lion King, which spawned two sequels and inspired the 2019 remake starring Beyoncé as Nala.
